1. Definitions
- Trustigo: Trustigo B.V., the provider of the Service.
- Service: the Trustigo platform at app.trustigo.com, including trust profiles, recommendation requests, widgets and related features.
- Customer: the business or professional that creates an account and uses the Service.
- Recommender: a person who submits a recommendation about a Customer.
- Content: all information, text, logos and recommendations placed on the Service.
2. Applicability
These terms apply to all use of the Service and to every agreement between Trustigo and the Customer. The Service is intended for business use; by creating an account you confirm you act on behalf of a business or in the course of your profession.
General terms of the Customer do not apply unless Trustigo has explicitly accepted them in writing.
3. Account
Creating a Trustigo account is free. You must provide accurate information and keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Let us know immediately at info@trustigo.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
4. Plans, prices and payment
The Free plan costs nothing and has no time limit. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Current prices are shown on trustigo.com/pricing and are exclusive of VAT.
Paid plans renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month. Amounts already paid are not refunded, unless required by law.
Trustigo may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. If you do not agree with a price change, you can cancel before it takes effect.
5. Recommendations and fair use
Trust only works when recommendations are genuine. Customers therefore agree:
- to request recommendations only from real customers or business relations;
- not to write, buy or incentivise recommendations in a way that is misleading;
- not to pressure Recommenders or make publication conditional on a positive rating;
- to have a lawful basis for sending recommendation requests to the people they invite.
Trustigo may verify, refuse, hide or remove recommendations that appear fake, misleading, unlawful or in breach of these terms.
6. Content and intellectual property
The Customer remains owner of the Content it provides and grants Trustigo a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute that Content as part of the Service, including via widgets and public trust profiles.
All rights to the Service itself, including software, design and the Trustigo brand, remain with Trustigo. You may not copy, resell or reverse-engineer the Service.
7. Privacy and data processing
We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy at trustigo.com/privacy. Where Trustigo processes personal data on behalf of the Customer, Trustigo acts as a processor and the data processing terms available on request via info@trustigo.com apply.
8. Availability
We work hard to keep the Service available and secure, but cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may perform maintenance and improve, change or discontinue features. We will announce significant changes in advance where reasonably possible.
9. Liability
Trustigo is only liable for direct damage resulting from an attributable failure to perform. Total liability is limited to the amount the Customer paid in the 12 months before the event causing the damage, and for Free plans to €100.
Trustigo is not liable for indirect damage, including lost profit, lost revenue or reputational damage, nor for the content of recommendations written by Recommenders. These limitations do not apply in case of intent or gross negligence.
Insights, scores and estimates shown on the website and in the Service are indicative and do not guarantee any business result or AI search position.
10. Suspension and termination
You can delete your account at any time. Trustigo may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, for example by publishing fake recommendations, after notice where reasonably possible. After termination, public profiles and widgets stop working and data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes, governing law and disputes
Trustigo may amend these terms. We will inform Customers of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect.
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. We always prefer to resolve issues together first — email us at info@trustigo.com.
